The Health Benefits of Jumping Rope

It’s easy to see why a jumping rope workout is so healthy. Picture a boxer with rippling abs twirling the jump rope with lightning speed and becoming drenched with sweat in seconds. Jumping rope is a great cardio workout.

One awesome thing about jumping rope is that it’s fun! Compared to running laps around a soccer field, jogging on a treadmill, or using an elliptical machine for hours on end jumping rope can be a welcome reprieve from the monotony of many other types of cardio workouts.
