* Green Builders Program of Austin Texas The City of Austin’s Green Building Program encourages construction professionals and consumers to incorporate sustainable building practices, systems, and materials in to residential and commercial construction.
* Green Building Concepts supplies information exchange on resource and energy efficient home building.
* United States Green Building Council – The Council’s mission is the initiation, development, and accelerated implementation of green building concepts, technologies and principles on a national basis.
* Green Building Information Council – a Canadian non-profit organization whose mission is to disseminate information about energy and environmental issues in the building sector.
* United States Department of Energy Building Standards & Guidelines Program (BSGP) – a resource on national energy codes and standards.
* Development Center for Appropriate Technology – A Tucson-based nonprofit working towards the national and international revision of building codes to recognize that healthy and safe building includes chemical sensitivity and environmental resource issues.
